It was only logical that I pursued this after high school. With my parents
support I went into college eager to make my boyhood hobby into a career.
While attending the University of Massachusetts I soon realized that illustration, as a job was much different then illustration as a hobby. I also realized that
the industry was extremely competitive and difficult to break into.
I started to develop an interest in graphic design in my sophomore year of college. I was drawn to the problem solving aspect of it. I enjoyed telling
stories with my illustrations and found that I could do this with design as
well. I found myself getting the same gratitude from design as I did with my illustrations. For me Graphic design as a direction in which I could build
a career.
Outside of design I enjoy art and film. I have been playing golf with my twin brother since I was 5, and am an avid Red Sox fan. Film, architecture and industrial design are also interests of mine. Some day I will travel and see
the world.
